Athena Weavers began in April 2017 when a group of weavers from Athens, Georgia, USA and surrounding areas met and formed a new community dedicated to supporting and educating each other in our common goal of improving our weaving skills. We are a diverse group, with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced, using a variety of loom types including multi-shaft, rigid heddle, pin, and inkle. Membership is free, and visitors are welcome at our meetings.
How to Join: Our primary means of communication, especially regarding meeting times and places, is through an email group.
