The Athena Weavers are hosting an Open House on Saturday, August 24 to present information about our programs and studies by offering the Athens community hands-on experiences with weaving, showing our weaving projects, and discussing our programs. Guests are welcome to try weaving on a floor loom, learn about band weaving with cards and inkle looms, investigate notes and samples from our drafting study group, see samples collected from our travels and browse a rack of hand woven clothing by guild members.

Meetings are typically held the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm at the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Conference Room, 725 Hancock Industrial Way, Athens, GA 30605. Membership is free, and visitors are welcome at our meetings.
